Massage RX of Athens offers massage services under business owner Ashley McDonald, LMT who has been practicing massage therapy since early 2007, after attending massage therapy school at Heritage Institute and receiving an OAS degree in massage therapy. Ashley has worked in numerous massage settings including 5 Star Resort, Sea Island Cloister Spa, The King and Prince Beach Resort, and while contracting her own private practice from salons and her chiropractor’s office.

Ashley has always been most comfortable in the medical massage setting, helping to rehabilitate clients with injuries and structural issues. She tends to blend techniques from multiple modalities to create a custom massage for each individual client. Ashley is here to support her clients whether there be an injury, preventative therapy needs, emotional or physical stress, and general well-being. She works with clients of all ages and stages in life and strongly believes in the therapist-client relationship, building her business on respect, love, and trust.
